This project focuses on creating a complete brand identity system for an outdoor lifestyle brand, developed using Adobe Illustrator. It includes logo design, visual identity guidelines, typography, color systems, and marketing applications across apparel and promotional materials.
The Outdoor Brandbook project presents a complete visual identity system for a fictional brand named "NorthPeak Outdoors." It defines the brand’s personality, logo usage, typography, and color schemes while showcasing how the identity translates across real-world applications such as apparel and marketing materials.
The objective was to create a cohesive and professional brand identity that reflects the adventurous and resilient spirit of outdoor exploration. A key challenge was maintaining consistency across multiple design elements while ensuring flexibility for different applications like clothing, branding assets, and promotional visuals.
The process began with conceptualizing the brand identity and designing the primary logo using geometric forms and mountain-inspired visuals. Illustrator was used to develop logo variations, typography systems, and color palettes. The brand guidelines were then structured into a clear layout, followed by applying the identity to apparel mockups and marketing visuals to demonstrate real-world usage.
The final deliverable is a comprehensive brandbook that includes logo guidelines, visual identity rules, and practical applications such as apparel and promotional designs. It highlights strong branding skills, consistency in design systems, and the ability to translate a concept into a fully developed identity.
